On 7th March 2024, peacefully at home Meadow Green, Heckmondwike, formerly of Batley, aged 83 years, Colin, much loved husband of Betty, a dearly loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great uncle. Colin will be remembered with love and great affection by all his family and many friends.
Funeral service will take place at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Thursday 28th March 2024 at 12.30pm. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be sent to George Brooke Ltd or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of the Injured Jockeys Fund.

A sad occasion when my Brother died. But I have many happy memories of our childhood. Playing cricket in the back garden, football in the Park and kicking a tennis ball around under the street lights imagining them to be Floodlights. We had many fights ( as Brothers do ) but woe betide anyone who tried to attack me. He was a ferocious protector. My thoughts are with Betty, who was Colin’s one and only love.
