Peacefully at home on February 23rd aged 43 years, Christopher. The beloved son of Alby, much-loved brother of Louise, cherished son of the late Pat and step-son of the late Terry. A treasured grandson, dearly loved uncle, nephew, cousin and friend of many. Sadly missed.
Family and friends please meet on Monday March 11th for service in Sunderland Crematorium at 10:30am. Flowers welcome or donations in lieu kindly received for Guide Dogs. Please join the family afterwards in Newbottle WMC for refreshments.

Well Christopher the day has arrived where we say our see ya later not goodbyes.
You really were one of the nicest, kindest men to walk this earth and we are so proud to be able to call you our nephew and cousin.

I know you’ll be wishing me a happy birthday in heaven Christopher . You’ll be playing with Bruno now surrounded by Nana and grandad straughan and heron . Our auntie carol and Geoff Leanne uncle des auntie Anne .. I hope you like the cross necklace I took off and placed it with mine and dad’s letters, it gave my dad peace that you had this little token of peace and heaven with you . It’s been so hard cleaning your little home that I fought so hard for you to keep . I did it son . I got you your independence once and for all and I was proud of you and the way you beamed when I told you you got to keep the bungalow. I knock on your bedroom door and say good morning and tara when I leave but you probably know this already . I feel you near me . It’s going to be hard for me and dad when we lock your door for ever on Sunday . Your photo and black shoes are in front of your bedroom door and those will be the last things to leave your home .
I can go on but that’s for another time son .
