With heavy hearts, the family announce that on the 19th February 2024, Bruce Desmond Regimbal of Hillcroft, Hill Lane, Pentlepoir passed away peacefully at home whilst surrounded by his wife, Ann and their two sons, Paul & Jason.

Bruce was a loyal and devoted husband to Ann, an incredibly loving father to Paul & Melissa and Jason & Sara. He was the kindest, fun loving and selfless grandfather to Sofia & William all for whom he dedicated his life to.

Bruce touched the lives of so many people with a formidable sense of humour coupled with humility, love and loyalty. Having made his way to the Angels, Bruce's passing has left a void that can never be filled and a million memories to help family and friends to navigate his absence.

Bruce's funeral service will be held on Thursday 29th February 2024 at 11.30am at St. Mary’s Church, Begelly prior to interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery. There will be family flowers only, with donations in lieu, if so desired, to support the development of a local children's park in Kilgetty that his grandchildren will one day play in c/o E.C. It is hard to believe we will not see Bruce open the gate for us once again to the caravan site. We will miss his lovely smile and infectious sense of honour.
We have been great friend with not just Bruce and Ann, but there whole family for over 20 years, and are going to miss him dearly.
All our sympathy goes out to Ann, Paul, Jason and all the family at this incredibly sad time.
RIP Bruce 💔.

Bruce Almighty

I dreamt the reaper came for me it was my time to die
I towed my caravan to that CL in the sky
I wasn't afraid or fearful of my fate
Bruce was standing there to open up the gate

He said come in your welcome with his cheeky smile
Make yourself comfortable you'll be here for a while
Then he rode his tractor to mow the perfect turf
Just as he did in his life on earth

I knew I'd be happy there it felt just like home
The site was full of caravans I wouldn't be alone
And if there was a problem something that wasn't planned
Bruce would be there to give a helping hand

I stood there in paradise and down came the rain
Rest in peace Bruce Regimbal until we meet again

It is unbelievable that Bruce is no longer with us. He was a lovely man with a sense of humour that was second to none. It has been a pleasure and an honour to have known Bruce, he will always be in our thoughts.
Sending all our love to Ann and family at this sad time.

Unbelievable that such a positive source of energy is no longer here but your legacy will go on in all that loved you and the amazing creations you have left behind. I asked my boys to write a card to Ann and they all wrote the same thing. “Thank you for the memories”. Still appreciating the times they spent as children at Hillcroft with their Grandparents and family. I thank you too for the laughs we shared and the kindness you showed me and mine. Good night Bruce but gone far to soon xx
