My dear aunt Jean

I remember your voice, it sounds so clear…“Oh hello” I’d hear when I’d call you from way down here. Even though we were miles apart, I could always feel the kindness and soft sweetness that filled your heart

We’d talk, we’d laugh and reminisce of times gone by from years that passed

You opened your heart, your home and gave me a place to stay for my big overseas adventure to the UK. I am grateful for your generous hospitality, for all the day trips and English countryside drives, from London to the sea and for all the stories we shared over fish, chips, cakes and coffee

Forever in my heart, rest in peace Jean

All my love, Amanda x

From becoming your cleaner 3 years ago to becoming friends. Coming to you wasn't just a job it was time with my friend. We would put the world to rights, I would off load my mayhem of life, you would tell me stories of your lifetime. If you needed a hand with appointments or posting Christmas cards I would always be there to help. I called you my second nan... Especially the way you would wave at me from the doorstep as I drove away. I'm so devastated you are gone but am so grateful to of met you and being my friend for 3 years. Rest in peace and enjoy those glasses of baileys up there ❤️
