This is the second time in a week , I have to read of the passing of a valued colleague, with great sadness. I knew John as Head of Business and Commercial studies, when I arrived at Greenhill to teach in the Art dept in 1981.
He was a remarkably diligent and committed teacher, with total and unshakeable desire to do the right thing, but also with great sense of humour.
It was always a pleasure to tell John how wonderful his children were , and how much of an absolute pleasure it was to teach them.
RIP John.
