It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Graham Sweeney, surrounded by his loved ones on January 27th, 2024.
David, devoted Husband to Heather, amazing Daddy to Rachel and Erin, proud Grandad to Samuel, supportive Father-in-Law to Michael and Christian, and Brother to Susan, has left a void in our hearts.
David passed his love of Norwich City, old films and music onto his children and was immensely proud of his grandsons achievements in any sport he took part in. However his proudest moments were the birth's of his daughters and grandson, and sharing 57 wonderful years with his beloved Heather.
David's legacy is not just in his work but in the love and laughter he brought to our lives. He may be gone, but his spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear. You will be forever missed and loved.

David was a lovely man; he was gentle and had a great sense of humour. Heather and David were a beautiful couple and David will be greatly missed by us all xxx

One of my best memories of uncle David is when I was a stroppy teenager. Adults don’t listen, family gatherings with adults chatting and not including us children. Uncle David took the time to chat to me the whole time, asking questions and listening. Treating me like an equal. I’ll always remember it. He was such a kind and funny man.
