In loving memory of Bill Warmington who sadly passed away on 2nd February 2024. He was born in Oxfordshire on 16 November 1934, and excelled at sport, both athletics (440m) and rugby, which he represented for his country as a schoolboy.
He lived a good life, as a sport and history teacher, and after retiring as a Samaritan. He passed away from pneumonia, peacefully in hospital.

As I only ever knew Bill as a kindly elderly man, I had no idea that he had been such a sportsman as a young man! A good life, well lived. Well done, Bill.

That’s the Willy Warminton I remember. He was always happy and would make me laugh a lot. He gave me away at my wedding and I will forever be grateful for that. RIP Willy 💔
