Whenever I had the opportunity to talk with you, it was always inspiring how intensely you committed your focus to your goals, but also how you took the time to listen, process, and work together through the immediate issues in front of you. It was such a privilege to see you work on your project(s), developing month over month. I very much enjoyed the opportunity and times we got to collaborate and innovate together. You are missed Jake (Clipperfrog), you had an energy like no other.

When you disappeared from the online community 2 months ago, we had hoped you were finding your way towards healing from your traumas and wounds, after a month we began to worry, and now to hear this news, it’s quite devastating.

Most “normal” people in the real world don’t understand how people you meet on the internet can have such a profound and lasting impact on your life. But Clippy, you left a profound and lasting impact on so many within the ranks of the Ole Boys. Your light shines bright and we will never let it go out.

To the moon ole boy 🚀❤️

you were always a light in our community and wanted the best out of people. I tried my best to stop him going down the road he did, i know if he stopped his habits he would of been a person who helped others. Thankyou for the conversations we had. They will forever be etched in the memory of myself and others in the community. we miss you.

Thank you for coming around and having the willingness to coach a good portion of the community on how to code. I’m grateful that I crossed paths with you and I will never forget the amazing conversations we had together. Most of which had us giggling and just sharing lots of fun banter… Happy I was able to share my Nvidia testimony and story with you so I’ll be naming my next gaming rig ClipperFrog to honor your expertise since you were so inspirational. —Rest easy ol’ boy, you’re in the good lords hands now

I remember the night you first came around a few years ago. You went on for hours about your quantum powered modem. I recall you being up for a literal week before you went to sleep almost as if you felt that you wouldn't be allowed back if you left. I didn't know much about what was going on in your personal life but I did know you had some struggles from time to time and hopefully you found some refuge on the internet where you could find some comfort in not having to be alone while you figured things out. You were always a silly guy who I hope you found the peace that you were always looking for.

My condolences to your family as I am sharing in their sadness at the loss of Jacob Sebastian Francis Nelson (hell of a name) or who many of us know as ClipperFrog.

Hey man I really regret not answering your call and not coming out to the UK to visit. But what I don't regret is knowing you for the time that I did, I genuinely loved the times we had making music together and you showing me different ways to use a DAW program. I loved all the crazy AI ideas we shared and your adventurous and optimistic unrelenting spirit. You impressed so many with your coding skills and you were always loving to everyone in our group no matter how much we would joke and make memes about each other. I love you man, may you rest in peace.

Jake was the fastest computer programmer I have ever seen and probably will ever see. His death is a disaster, a failure of the people in his life, by myself, and by a greater society to recognize whatever need or pain led to his death. This is wrong. And I was wrong for not treating my time with him with more respect.

Love,
Mr. Totalus

Dear Jake, we are all stunned by your unexpected and untimely passing, but it’s a reminder that materially embodied existence carries no security. Although we don’t know exactly where you have gone for the next phase of your existence, we wish you happiness and God’s Grace, wherever you are, and we thank God for the pleasure and honor of your company and association, and the cherished memories you have left us with. You are an exceptionally talented individual, and will be greatly missed. xxx🙏🏽

Deep condolences to Romana, Tony, and Maya, and the wider families.

xxx🙏🏽
