In loving memory of Julie Anslow who sadly passed away on 3rd January 2024

Julie was born on 30/03/1954 in Folkestone where she grew up. She went to Hollywell Girls School.
She was very arty, sporty and lover history.

She met Stephen while still at school, they had Gaynor when she was only 17yrs old, and some years later they married.

Julie was one of nine brothers and sisters, and was so good at keeping in touch with family and friends not just local, her welsh family and friends far away were so important to her, she was a very sociable person and seemed to know so many people. She touched so many hearts and cared about everyone. She was so proud of her grand children Ashleigh, Courtney and Bradley, taking photos of them when they wouldn't notice, and would talk of them to everyone.

She loved anaimals, nature, flowers, birds, bees and butterflies, she would spend hours in the garden, we would share photos of the birds, hedgehogs and all the dogs in the Abby. She was part of the walking community in the Abby where she would walk Roxie most days. Hense the donations for Battersea, we come from a family of anilmal lovers. She kept a close eye on her neighbours and all the people she was a domestic worker for, but it was more than that, she cared for them.

If you listened to KMFM you would hear her many shoutouts that she would request. She really was one in a million.

Thank you for your friendship, reltionship, chats, social media shares, your interaction with mum would have meant so much te her XX

I was intoduced to Julie the night of The 'Folkestone Tempest' well a hurricane on the Eve of 15-10 1987. Julie with her twinkling brown eyes, and wide smile was an even livelier companion. Her joyous , chortling laughter and infectious boundless energy ( a little minx ) would be very much a soulmate indelibly imprinted in my memory. By 1990s we kept in touch through cards on yearly occasions. We your friends and family will all join you sooner or late and enjoy fun laughter and happiness once more forever.
