Suddenly passed away on 24th December 2023 at his home in Waunarlwydd, Swansea.
Dearly loved husband of the late Eva,
loving father of Daniel and James,
dear father-in-law of Lisa,
much loved grandad of Amy, Lucy and Oliver,
loved brother of Paul and Norman.
Funeral Thursday 25th January 2024 service at
St. James Church, Walter Road, Uplands, Swansea 2pm
followed by interment at Oystermouth Cemetery (section "Z")
at 3.15pm.

Met John as apprentice in Vickers Barrow and he was a good friend back then in the 60’s. Was in Spain when he met Eva and visited them both in Sweden as a young couple. I have many wonderful memories of out close friendship together.

I knew John from visiting our bakery to help us with issues with our flour silo.
On one occasion he found the fault after less than 2 minutes once he had changed. Very knowledgeable man.
Always sharing many of his values on life, that I have taken on board and shared with other people. John will be sadly missed and my thoughts are with his whole family at this sad time.
