In loving memory of Major Clive Shead who sadly passed away on 24th November 2023. Clive became an officer in 1976 and was stationed at various Salvation Army Corps in the UK until his retirement in 2013. Clive married the much-loved officer Hylda in 1992 and they had a happy 19 years together until she sadly passed away in 2011. In their latter years as officers, Clive and Hylda were engaged in the Salvation Army Officers counselling service. Following retirement, Clive worked part-time for a number of years as Chaplain at the Salvation Army Booth Centre in Southampton. Not content to give up service altogether, Clive became a volunteer Chaplain at Winchester Cathedral right up until his passing away. Clive was well-known and loved within Salvation Army circles and will be sadly missed by all.
