We have known Alan for more years than we can remember, sharing happy times with him and Joyce. He was one of life’s gentlemen and we count ourselves lucky to have known him.
We first met him in Ormskirk, when the children were small where we were close neighbours. Although we have moved around a lot we have stayed in close touch sharing trips and holidays.
We will miss him and his humour and forgive him his support for Bolton Wanderers!
We have lost a good friend but the memories will stay with us.
