So many memories!! Parties at your house & at ours - Betty singing “The Leaving of Liverpool”. Betty making me feel like an adult when I came to babysit you girls - & I must have been all of 16! The long friendship between Betty & Andy and my parents. The kindness Betty showed to my Mum after Dad passed - the many times she took Mum to Schoenstadt. My overriding memory is of the laughs shared with her & how your house became my second home - it meant so much to be included in your lovely, lively family: especially as an only child. Rest in peace, Betty.

Some of my earliest memories are playing with you girls while your mum baked various pies and cakes. I think there were times I was at Betty's house more than my own. She had the kindest eyes that twinkled when she was joking around with you. I wish I could get home for the funeral to pay my respects in person and honour her.
