Uncle's passing brings back a lot of memories we shared during my time in Nottingham. He was a father figure during those years. Ever attentive, and willing to help. He spoke little and he was a gentleman's gentleman. At OFNC those years, Uncle's support was unwavering. Uncle, Aunty and Kemi really made those years memorable.

We shared some of the good memories last summer when I visited with my family. The love and generosity of the Odunfas make his passing especially sad, but we take solace in his legacies and the lives that he touched.

As he is laid to rest today, I can only pray that the Lord will strengthen Aunty and Kemi, and the rest of us whose lives he touched, and keep us all in good standing with Him until He returns or calls us home.

Uncle was more of a father figure to me and I enjoyed the times we spent together especially during my time as a student. He will be greatly missed.

Aunty and Kemi, pls accept my condolences. I know the good Lord is with you and Daddy's lived ones at this time. He promised us His Strength and you should rely on it especially during these difficult times. I pray you know and feel the Lord's Peace and Love as He surrounds you now and always. Daddy is with the Lord and that is our joy. His race on earth is finished and he has achieved the God's purpose here on earth and will be rewarded in Heaven. Love always. 🙏

I met you few years before you got married to your better half. I will always remember you for your sincere smile, unwavering tolerance, love and patience. Have been looking forward to the day you will walk your lovely daughter Oluwakemi down the aisle but who are we to blame God. We lost you on earth but Heaven gain you. We shall all meet at the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ.
