Olive Edwards (23 Mar 1914 - 4 Dec 2023)

In loving memory of Olive Edwards who sadly passed away on 4th December 2023
Mum lived a long life and experienced many changes. From her father coming home from the First World War when she was four to getting married in the Second World War and then entering a new millennium! She was an infant teacher for many years and helped many children and fellow teachers.
Although she had two daughters -Wendy and Janet she became an “adopted mum” to many others.
She was extremely loyal and protective towards her family and would always help and support them. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed it when they came to visit. In return they liked spending time with her and she was an important part of their lives.
She was often asked what her secret to long life was and although I have a sneaky suspicion it was chocolate, I think it may have been that she was loved too much to be let go. We were so lucky to have her for so long.
