In loving memory of Sylvia Skelton who sadly passed away on 28th November 2023

Thank you for visiting our just giving page in memory of Sylvia Skelton. It is here that we are asking for donations instead of flowers for Macmillan Cancer Care. Read on for a little bit of her story and why we have chosen this charity.

During the past 12 years Sylvia fought off 3 different types of cancer including skin, breast and mouth cancer. However, in the last 2 months she was diagnosed with terminal metastatic melanoma liver cancer. Unfortunately, this was one fight she could not win. On Tuesday 28th November sadly she lost her battle and passed away.

Macmillan Cancer have supported Sylvia and Richard during this extremely difficult time so instead of flowers for her funeral, we are asking for donations towards this wonderful charity.

Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit of Sylvia’s story, and for donating in memory of our amazingly brave and courageous woman.

I will always remember such special memories of you Sylvia as you so kindly let me spend many happy of times with Angela as we grew up together. I thank you and chip for all my memories I can cherish of you, and of course Angela and Christine for so many years of laughter .
