In loving memory of Maggie (Cecilia Margaret) Williams, who sadly passed away on 26th November 2023.
Maggie was known as one of those more stoic characters in life. She was independent, strong, caring, and generous and had a great sense of humor and fun. Maggie lived a very full life. She was proud of her Scottish roots and had a close affinity with Birmingham where she lived for some of her life. She was also very proud of her service with the WRVS in Germany. She shared 40 great years of marriage to David Williams and raised three children, Lisa, Jamie and Michelle while working full time as a Nursery Teacher at Sherwin Knight School, in Strood. Maggie loved being a Grandma and adored her dog Skye. She was a devoted Member, Secretary and Deacon of Frindsbury Baptist Church where she was Baptised in 1989. She was very much loved and a very popular lady. Many people sending condolences have remarked on just how special a lady she was. Although her dementia diagnosis took its toll over the last 6 years her spirit and character was always still there and was very much still shining through. She will be greatly missed but holds a big place now in all of our hearts xx

I'm so sorry not to be able to come to say goodbye. Maggie, you always have been a strong, quietly hard working, humble but ohso funny lady. The times we laughed! I have too many good memories to even go near here. Right to the last time I saw you, you still readed out and smiled that cheeky grin We all know so well. You've been so loved by so many, you've touched the hearts of even more. Sleep well darling Maggie xx

Thank you for being my friend for such a long time. I say your name every time the church bells ring in the belief that saying people who have passed away's names on the hours the bells ring means you get your wings more quickly 🪽 love from Myrtle.

Maggie was a great encouragement and help in setting up Friends of helper (which supported the work of helper in Tanzania) and she was one of the original trustees. She was very reliable, kind, and enthusiastic, and had a good sense of humour. We miss her and are thankful for having known her.
