So upset to hear of the passing of our beloved Aunty Mary. Our Dad,Ted, is terribly sad to have lost his big sister, but takes great comfort of memories from their childhood and the maternal role she played in his life after their mother died. I personally loved her cheeky and playful nature and enjoyed witnessing her boss about her “little brother” whenever they met.
So grateful Aunty Mary is now at peace, but disappointed we won’t hear her sing Geordie folk songs to us anymore whenever she heard our North East accents. Our deepest condolences are sent to Sarah, Neil,Joanne, Kevin, Iain’s wife Jan and all of the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
