In loving memory of Roger Alan Double who sadly passed away unexpectedly on 15th October 2023, at home with his wife Rosemary by his side.
Born in Crayford on 25th February 1947, to the late ‘Bill’ and Gladys Double, Roger is survived by his sister Jill.
Roger qualified and held a successful career in mechanical engineering. He had a great passion for sailing and was a loyal member of Upnor Sailing Club. Roger also held a deep nostalgia for WWII history and a love of fighter planes.
Roger married Rosemary on 12th September 1970 and were happily married for 53 years, after which their 3 children, son Keith and daughters Lynne (dec) and Jennie were born.
Rogers service will be held on Friday 10th November @ 12.30 at:
Medway Crematorium
Robin Hood Lane
Blue Bell Hill
ME5 9QU.
A wake will be held at The Leather Bottle, Cobham straight after the service (on-site car park).
