In loving memory of Paul Dowd who sadly passed away on 23rd August 2023. 2 days before he reached his 60th Birthday.
Loving husband and son, dad and step dad, brother and brother-in- law, uncle and son in law. Friend to many.
Paul was a kind, caring, intelligent and a loving soul who had time for anyone and everyone he met. He had a curiosity for life and a sense of adventure, a quirky sense of humour and style, and a mischievous smile that lit up his face.
Paul was loved by all who knew him and will be sadly missed. Until we meet again my love, forever in my heart and mind xxx

Paul was always kind to me and made me feel like part of the family. We both had a love of books (although my collection no where near rivaled Paul’s) and had a few good conversations about our favourite ones. He will be missed. Rest in Peace Paul x

Paul in September 2016, standing by his chosen olive tree in Italy. We know exactly which one it is and think of him every time we pass it or work near it.

We are so sad to be saying goodbye to Paul. The last time we spoke he was looking forwards and determined to live his life to the full.
Ian and I remember Paul as such a life force - full of love for his family and friends. He was so intelligent and knowledgeable with huge enthusiasm for his interests. We enjoyed so much fun and laughter together.
With love Annette and Ian x

Our feelings at the moment are of anger and grief. A friendship that was to last a lifetime, cut short. We miss you incredibly. We can still see your smile, hear your dry wit and feel the love you shared with those around you. Sleep well my brother

I will always remember and enjoy the times I talked to Paul. He made me a Manchester City fan and he in turn became a Pittsburgh Steeler fan. He was smart, witty and had a great sense of humor. He was my source for brick information and I would send him pictures of unusual construction and he would patiently explain to me why the building was built that way. RIP Paul. You will be missed.

Little known fact about Paul...he visited the Pentagon and quickly got involved and prevented WWIII. One of many amazing feats he was involved in his life.

My love, We were only together for such a short time but we both knew it was meant to happen. You were so familiar that first time we talked. You made me feel safe and loved. You made me feel special and you listened to me. You taught me so much and we had so many things we were going to do. My favourite place was inside your cuddle. I miss holding your hand and laughing with you. I always knew you were out there and never gave up hope of meeting you my love. I'm so happy we did, even though its so painful now, and lonely. I know I made you happy too and you left this life feeling loved and appreciated. I know I will find you again one day and until then I have you in my heart xxx
