In loving memory of Raymond "David" Buckley who sadly passed away on 6th September 2023
Funeral will be held at the Newstead chapel at Mansfield Crematorium on Tuesday 26th September 2023 at 10am,
After the service there will be a gathering at the Byron’s Rest in Hucknall.
A Hucknall born and raised man who was fiercely proud of his family. David leaves behind his wife Christine, Daughter Claire, Son Mark and sister Patricia as well as grandchildren, Abigail, Faith, Brandon, Ben, Lucy, Halen, Ruby-Rose, Nevaeh and Kiedis, and great-grandchildren Scarlett-Rose and Arabella. He was fiercely proud of them all.
He was the families ‘Mr Fix-It’ and if anyone knew how to fix something it was him, and if he didn’t know you better believe he was going to figure it out for you!
David had a love of music and enjoyed live music as well as listening to his extensive and eclectic collection of music, listening to the folk based musings of Jethro Tull to Black Sabbath and everything in between.
He also enjoyed fishing whenever he was able, and socialising with his friends.
Always smartly dressed and at one time taking a vast amount of pride in his long wavy hair, Dave was guaranteed to always look as dapper as possible with a crisply ironed shirt even for a night at the local with the lads.
We will all miss him immensely and we hope that his memory will live on for you all as it will for us.
