In loving memory of Richard Ellisdon who sadly passed away on 22nd August 2023
Husband, Father, Grandfather, Good Friend to many and avid Chelsea FC supporter - he will continue to be loved and missed by us all.

We request no flowers on the funeral day - only donations to the Ellenor Hospice which supported both Richard and Marion in his last months, providing vital assistance, advice, carers and equipment. You can either donate using the Just Giving link attached to this page or on the day there will be a box provided for donations to be posted.

Such a great loss of a good friend.
When we first met over 40 yrs ago he proved to be inspirational and supportive mentor encouraging me throughout my life long surveying career, always available to dispense sensible and thoughtful advice.
We shared the highs and lows that following Chelsea and Surrey inevitably brings. So many great memories of good times and excellent company at the Bridge, the Oval, Curry evenings, the list goes on..
Any time spent in Richard's company was inevitably lit up with his ability to tell a good captivating yarn, remember minutiae from decades previous and still bring tears of laughter, particularly when recounting the absurdity of any given situation/experience.
We shared an appreciation of 'rusty industrial gold' (tat?) and I miss our weekly e-mails.
As has been said elsewhere he was a true gentleman - old school class.
Rest easy my friend,
Love and hugs to all the family,

Steve & Jennie
