Bridget, my beautiful wife and best friend you can rest easy now. you were so brave and put up with so much over the past 5 years. I hope I made it fun at times and supported you when you needed it and cried together when things seemed too hard.

Thank you for all the fun times we shared, for stealing my phone and taking hundreds of stupid selfies. For all the trips we took, even though you were scared of flying. I'm so lucky to have shared my life with you meeting at a young age and growing older together. We had so many more things planned for the years ahead. I'll do some in your honour and some will just stay in my memory. All the DM concerts we went to, the tickets you bought for January will be used and you'll be with me. "Reach out and touch faih"

Thank you to everyone who attended yesterday either in person or online. I'm not surprised that people were so fond of Bridget. She was loving and kind and never had a bad word to say about anyone.

To Paula and Ian thank you for speaking so well.

Thank you to Anth and Kat who listened when she wanted to be angry over the last 5 years but then treated her like normal when she wanted to be normal.

Thank you to all the Pole and Hoop friends who gave her somewhere to channel her competitive side, especially at boot camp!

Debbie, you and Bridget met at such a difficult time but became sisters in the short 5 years you knew each other. No one else will ever be able to understand how you helped and supported each other.

Thank you to all her work colleagues over the years who have supported and no doubt frustrated her in equal measures. Especially over the last few years thanks to Dave, Phil, Toby and Lou amonst others who offered Bridget more love and support as they were her friends not just colleagues.

To all of Bridget's other friends remember the fun times. She always used to say "it must be 12 o'clock somewhere in the empire" so time for a G&T.

Mel, Chris and all at Ribbons you made Bridget's hair as colourful as she was.

Jim, Sean, John and Steve. Thank you for looking after me even when the tears have come, Cheers Mushes.

To all of our family, We will all miss Bridget but just look back on the good times.

Megan and Lily, Auntie Bridget would have loved to carry on doing lots of fun things with you as you got older, Just remember sparkly things are good (especially on your nails, in rings and in a few years time in a glass).

And finally to Bridget, my Queen of Darkness I will miss and love you forever. Thank you for choosing me to share your life with, I just wish it could have been for longer All my love your Sweetness.

Bridget, It was so lovely reconnecting with you again through work after all these years. Loved hearing about all your travels and reminiscing back to those days at Crosshouse. Rest well lovely lady xx

Today was not easy and a day that came far too soon and out of the blue!

You were an absolute warrior princess and deserved much more time to spread your infectious joy and pink sparkle! I’m certain there were plenty hair colour options left to try out - which only you knew how to rock!

I will miss you, your wit, sense of humour, your travel bug, destination updates and lust for seeing all these places but most of all, the wonderful friendship that grew out of being work colleagues all those years ago in our younger days! You leave a Bridget sized hole!

You’d be proud of your loved ones today.

Many knew you as Bridget, or Bridge, but so many other nicknames!

Rest easy now, until we meet again. xx

Always there as my right hand girl providing great customer service to our Southern Telephones, SOTEL, Convergent, Azzurri and M12, SDX and Avaya customers. Ever professional, caring and attentive. Yes the Financial Crash meant you moved to a new work home. But then and probably now many businesses who rely on great comms have been able to rely on you as a key ingredient to their success. Taken way too soon.
