In loving memory of Penelope Mason who sadly passed away on 14th August 2023. Penelope, or Penny as she preferred to be called, was the loving wife of the late Joe, mother of Donald (deceased), Barbara, and Brian, grandmother and great grandmother. Born in London, raised in Westcott, Penny went to Edinburgh University graduating with a first in Geology. After a short period in Nottingham, Penny married Joe and spending the next 67 years together living in Somaliland, Rhodesia, Cobham, Kenya, North Derbyshire and finally Dorking. A life contributing to society, Penny was honored by the Queen with an MBE in 1996. Penny was an inspirational person, who had a great skill in organising her time to give her best to her interests, her work, her family and the community. A life well lived.
