In loving memory of Maureen Sylvia Grayer (née Andrews) who sadly passed away on the 13th August 2023, at the age of 84. A loving wife to her beloved husband David and devoted mother to Steven and Jacqueline.

Maureen was born in Dagenham, in her much loved family home in Crow Lane, where she had fond memories of her parents Arthur and Elizabeth and siblings Eileen, Audrey, Joan and Gerald. As a devoted Catholic, she lived her life by her faith. Her strong character and opinion always provided encouragement to all who sought her advice.

Maureen had a successful Local Government career in Education. She loved clothes and shopping, especially in Debenhams and from the Freemans catalogue. Maureen enjoyed gardening, her hanging baskets and planters, which were always overflowing with geraniums and fuchsias and were admired by all. After retirement, she enjoyed travelling and cruising and visited many countries of the world with David, including Italy which was one of her favourite's.

Maureen dedicated her life to her family, including seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, enjoying their company, supporting and caring for them. She will be greatly missed by us all.
