In loving memory of Rita Helen Veitch who sadly passed away on 10th August 2023.
Rita’s funeral will be at Medway Crematorium on 5th September 2023, at 15.30.
Family flowers only please; however Rita loved her garden, so please feel free to bring hand picked flowers from your garden in the form of a posy to hold during the service and leave in tribute at the crematorium.
We will be sharing memories and celebrating Rita’s life afterwards at the Bridgewood Manor Hotel.

Dear Veitch Family,
I thought of you all day today during Rita’s funeral and wished I could be there.
Rita’s passing certainly leaves a massive void in the Veitch family. She will be deeply missed by all. Her loving, kind spirit and fabulous sense of humour is something I will always remember.
May you all find comfort being together at this difficult time.
I know I will cherish her memories close to my heart.
Thinking of you all.
Kristina and Mike Beauchesne

I remember the good old times at Christmas in the farmhouse. The fun and games and all the children sliding down the stairs on a half blown up lilo with a brick wall at the bottom. Health and safety went out the window in those days. Happy memories. Miss you xx

In loving memory of ‘Nanny Rita’. I only had the pleasure of meeting her a handful of times, but she was kind and warm-hearted, and loved to talk of how proud she was of all of her lovely grandchildren.

Nan,

What amazing memories I have and will have forever. The stereo typical farmers wife and everyone loved you for it.
Amazing Dinners
Fruit Cake
Jams
Trips up to London with Grandad to sell fruit leaving me and my friend at home but making sure we knew where the gun was incase there was any issues just to make sure we were just that little bit more frightened at 10 or 11 years old. An amazing sense of humor.

Coming into my school to help teach all the Kids to cook 'Rita the Legend'

Huge christmas dinners and everyone around, always with Black Magic which I could swear I had worked out until last year when you proved I hadn't and I'm still frustrated!

The Blue pool and running round the farm for weeks on end during the summer, Trips to the new forest or the coast and telling me which fruits were what.

And of course you were living proof that you never needed a phone as long as you were on the farm you could be called in for dinner. Between you bellowing Alan and Grandad whistling at you In some weird form of communication it must have been very confusing for anyone who happened to be wandering through but it worked and it was amazing!

As an adult you have always been the most supporting grandparent always there and wanting to help. You could not have been more welcoming when Becky arrived on the scene and I know she loves you so much and you will always be her 'Nanny' too!

Oscar and William will always remember the stories of the Zoo, Grandad all the places you have visited and most recently of you adopting a Fox! And obviously they will keep the fish fed!

You will be missed but not forgotten and I will forever cherise the memories.

Love:
Rob, Ben, Rusty, Roy, TOM
SORRY
