Merle was an example to us all of how to live your life - care for others, and rejoice in their achievements; always stay positive, no matter what challenges life throws at you, and appreciate the little things that others do for you. Whenever we visited Merle, you were always welcomed with a big smile and a hug, plus a cuppa and biscuits, or cake! She loved the company of people, and her lively sense of humour always gave us a laugh. We miss you so much Merle, but we are all blessed with having had you touch our lives. Till we meet again!

Our Merle, a beautiful amazing lady with a heart that was bigger than ever. Always cared for all around her. I was lucky enough to have known you the last 6 years. You have a special place in my heart, you are spoken about fondly, we smile at the memory of you. I miss seeing you, catching up, and most definitely your special scones that you would bring for us.
