Jeune Price (14 May 1941 - 7 Aug 2023)

In loving memory of Jeune Price who sadly passed away on 7th August 2023 at home.

I know we will all have different memories of Jeune, my mum, which certainly includes the following and probably more
- her childhood in Frisby and Leicestershire, and a life around Stapleford Hall near Whissendine where her dad, Jack, worked with Lord and Lady Gretton
- as a mum to Rob and Sally in Mansfield, and nanna/grandmother to their children
- as a wife to Don, during his round the world race in 1972, co-creator of PBS language learning system, and all his other fund raising efforts and work at Portland through the 1970's and 80's
- as a teacher at Brunt's School Mansfield, with a passion to help those who needed it most
- as SENCO for Nottinghamshire at County Hall
- as a keen birdwatcher who listed out all her sightings
- as a gardener, who spent 45 years creating a beautiful garden in Mansfield and beautifully illustrated much of it with her botanical drawings
- as the fountain of all knowledge of the family, much of which is documented in an extensive family tree after twenty years of research
- and as maker of the most fabulous roulades, muffins and biscuits that we ate over the years with much enjoyment.
