HARRISON
STUART EDWARD
“Harry” “Stu”
It is with immense sadness & love that the family of our beloved Stuart Edward Harrison, aged 70 Years, of Mirfield announce his sudden passing surrounded by his loved ones on 5th August 2023 in hospital after a strong battle.
Very much loved husband of Sandra of 38 years, dearly loved Dad of Dan, Becki, Lauren & Scott, Grandad of Millie, adored brother of Chris, beloved father in law, brother in law and Uncle. Respectfully remembered by extended family, friends & former work colleagues.
Stuart served for his country in his early years for the Royal Navy, followed by his service in Thames Valley Police. He was a hardworking, proud, witty, caring, kind & dedicated man that deeply loved his family and will be sorely missed.
His Funeral service will be held at Huddersfield Crematorium on Thursday 24th August 2023 at 2pm. Family & friends please join together to say a final farewell to our Harry. Family flowers only please, however donations to Alpha-1 UK Support Group & The British Liver Trust in Stuart’s memory would be greatly appreciated.

A special extended thank you to his Consultant & Nurses at Pinderfields for their loving care and support especially during the past few months.
The family invites you to join them at Moorlands Cricket Club, Mirfield after the service to raise a glass to Stuart to celebrate his beautiful walk of life.

Stuart, I am so sorry I am unable to attend your final journey. I promise my intention was to be there to support Sandra and other fellow cousins. I even filled my car with petrol and checked all the tyre pressures ready for the journey. Sadly, my health has intervened which restricts me from travelling. Once again, I am so sorry to Sandra that I will not be with you in person. I will be viewing it over the Internet.
Much love, Pete.
