I knew Robin as I worked with his as a carer for St Michael's Home Care. I knew Robin for 7 months and this time I visited him almost every day. Robin was a kind and funny gentleman, he would bless me with stories of his life, we would share a joke and he would take the mickey out of me on a regular basis. Especially my grass cutting skills, I wasn't offended at all when I cut his grass one day and came back in a few days later to see he had purchased a robotic lawn mower! This man was one of the most incredible people I had the pleasure of meeting and working with. I never got to hear his voice but he would show me videos so I knew what he sounded like. I started as a carer, where I met Robin. Before going into Palliative care and now special needs support. There are some people that touch your heart and stay with you for life.
I miss his smile, I miss him.
