Remembrance of Catherine ‘Cathy’ Mary Smith
Cathy, our beloved wife, mother and nanny, sadly passed away surrounded by her family on 22nd July 2023, following a short illness.
Please join us to pay tribute to - and celebrate the life of Cathy at a service on Wednesday 16th August, this is preceded by additional opportunities to pay respects on Tuesday 15th August for those wishing to do so. The details of both days can shared by contacting us on cjac333@gmail.com
Flowers & Charity Donations
The family are arranging flowers for the service, so kindly request anyone wishing to pay tribute might consider making a charity donation in Cathy's memory.
All donations will be made to Sherwood Forest Hospitals using our link here, and we have specifically requested these are directed to the Stroke Ward at Kings Mill Hospital, their incredible staff cared for Cathy so compassionately on two occasions over the last few months.
Dress Code
The family's view is that Cathy would have been delighted to see everyone regardless of what colour of clothing you wear.

My abiding memory of you will be you sitting in the kitchen at the breakfast bar at your spot as I let myself in round the back to see if Vinny was in. You always welcomed me into your home when I was young, then again when I had a family of my own.
We will miss you.
