Great Man, Best Father, always welcoming and tolerant despite my often outlandish behaviour. My happiest memory of Bill would have to be when myslef Scott and either Paul or Craig helped him remove a tree from his front garden. 3 fools a chainsaw and Bill trying his best to direct us so we didn't destroy the house, the fence or each other. All in all I believe the removal was relatively successful despite the fact that the tree wasn't actually supposed to be removed.
Gone but never forgoten Bill will live on in the hearts and memories of his family and friends. A truly great man who raised one of the Best men I know. Thank you Bill I'm sure your smiling down on us now from heaven.
Rest well now,
Love Colum. x

I’ve known Bill for 30ish years. From having a sleepover with Scott as a spotty wean to having a pint in his home or pub, Bill made me feel nothing less than part of the family.

Seeing Bill at Yvonne’s wedding was a privilege. He was in his element! Holding court, welcoming everyone and gushing with pride for his children. I only expected to stay for the day but Bill made sure we were put up for the duration and involved with everything. When you were speaking to Bill you felt like the most important person in the room. A more generous, friendly, kind and warm man I’ve yet to meet.

I didn’t know Bill as well as I’d have liked but I’ve been Scott’s friend for 35 years and I can’t think of a finer testimony to a man than his boy.

Thinking of all you

Lots of love

Paul and Sara xxxx

A more generous and warm man you won't meet. Bill always made me laugh and made you feel welcome. The apple hasn't fallen far from the tree as Scott and Yvonme are the same and a credit to their parents. You'll be sadly missed.

Georgie, Yvonne, Scott and all extended family - so very sorry for your loss - Bill was an absolute gent, and good ould craic around the kitchen table with a drink, a song and not forgetting the odd conga line.

RIP Bill.

Sadly missed big brother who will be remembered as kind and generous hearted. Ready to enjoy a chat and a laugh with everyone he met be it family, friends or a stranger. A vast repertoire of stories to be told and the guarantee to be always entertained.

Billy will be sorely missed but always remembered and we are fortunate to be supported by so many good and fond memories.

Frank, Janette, Callum and Euan

Dear Georgie, Yvonne and Ronan, Scott and Heather, Chloe and Ryan and all Bills extended family and friends.

We are deeply saddened at the untimely loss of the lovely, gentleman that was Bill. He always had such a warm greeting for any of us who met him on one of his many visits to his second home in Ireland. He loved his time in Trim, especially as he got to spend time with his gorgeous grandkids Chloe and Ryan. His pride in both of them both always shone through.

Our hearts are broken for you all, we will raise a glass to him on Tuesday.
