Dear Sally, David and Family, so sorry for your loss. Uncle Ken will be sadly missed. I have wonderful memories of Uncle Ken's and Aunt Jackie's wedding. I had the privilege of being a bridesmaid & that is a memory I will treasure always. I remember when you all came to Australia to live for a while with more wonderful memories. Coming back to visit you all several times, once when you lived in Romford and the other in Christchurch those memories will never fade. Our Love and thoughts will be with you on the day and always. Your loving family in Australia Susan, Alan and family. XXXXXXXXXX

When I was courting Pam I was introduced to you Ken at Lily and Jack's home in Bromley by Bow. I found you easy to talk to and you took an interest in me. I was warmly welcomed into the Shefford family and I enjoyed hosting many of the family gatherings. I could tell you cared about Pam and we both enjoyed talking to you on the telephone. I have fond memories of you and we will miss you. God bless you.

Uncle Ken, it was lovely to meet you and have a good old chat at Nick and Suni's wedding. What a lovely day that was !You showed so much interest in my family and I, and it was like I only just seen you the other day. I can see why you will missed and loved by so many.

I was too young to remember the Shefford family parties unfortunately but lovely to see the photos with you, my dad and the rest of the family. Rest easy xxx

To my uncle Ken I have some lovely memories of me going to West Ham and you lent me David’s wooden stool so I could see on the big North Bank step.
Sometimes we would ask the gate man to let us into the chicken run so we could watch the game with you.
We had some lovely family gatherings at your house and I used to enjoy going down to the cellar and playing darts with everyone
I’ll remember you as a friendly warm uncle who was always interested in what I was doing. You’re back now with your beloved Jackie, say hi to mum for me.
Rest easy Uncle Ken xxx

I have fond memories of playing darts in the cellar with you and my cousins. I will remember the mischief in your smile. I inherited a love of cricket, football, swimming and beer from you. I enjoyed sitting next to you at Suni and Nick's wedding reception. You were always good company. Mum spoke highly of how studious and resilient you were working for Barnado's. You were a proud father and grandfather. Mum recalled how thoughtful you were sending her birthday cards during lockdown. Both you and mum had a talent for drawing and painting which has been passed onto David. Sally has inherited your caring nature and love of dogs. Thank you for being my mum's big brother. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Uncle Ken,
You were not only a lovely and revered uncle but a true gent who we always respected. My memory of you will be as an intelligent, sincere, warm, personable and very sociable person. Coming to our wedding day made both Suni and I so happy and were delighted when we got the news that you was attending. As a young boy growing up, the parties and family get togethers we shared will never be forgotten and always cherished. A great brother to my mum who really looked up to you with the respect you commanded. Mum always spoke so fondly of you and it was so lovely to see the joy it brought to her when we visited a few years ago.
To the end you were so incredibly brave, dignified and full of humility.
Rest in peace now Ken with Jackie once again by your side.
