In loving memory of John Cullen who sadly passed away on 27th May 2023

John was a loving husband to Betty (Nee Watson who passed away 2014).

He was a proud Dad of Susan, John, Martin, Robert and Noel.

A loving Grandad of Marc (passed away 2004) and Jemma.
Daniel (passed away 1991) Siobhan and Sean.
Patrick (passed away 1999) and Amy.
Megan and Deanna.
Jake, John, Declan, Brandon, Tristan, Emmy and Katie.

Also a loving Great Grandad to Aiden, Nathan and Leo.
Freya and Olivia.
Libby.

He was a proud Irish Man having been born in Templemore on 29 December 1944 to John and Mary Cullen. Brother to Seamus (Jimmy) Patrick, Chris, Michael and Martin.
He moved to Clonmel before finally following his Dad and Jimmy to Bolton along with his Mum Patrick, Chris and Michael in 1959. Martin was born in Bolton in 1962.

He worked hard all his life to provide for his large family while Betty worked evenings as there was childcare support for them.

There was never a lot of money but they always made sure we had a day in Blackpool every year, until 1974 when we went to Towyn for a week in a caravan. We thought we were rich.

Our parents would be there for us with advice and guidance. We may not have listened or appreciated it at the time but that didn't matter. They cared and were there to support us no mater what.

Both Mum and now Dad will be sorely missed and have left a big hole in all of our hearts.

Always remembered, never forgotten xx

We were so sorry to hear of John's passing. On every occasion we met John we can honestly say he was a 'lovely' man in all respects.
He will be sadly missed.
Our thoughts are with Sue and her family.
