Carole Deas (6 Apr 1945 - 16 May 2023)

I first met Carole in 1976 as I worked for her husband, Roger, as a rather junior accountant from 1975. We met a few times over the years and I was always struck by her warmth of personality and desire to achieve something. We spent a lovely weekend with the family at their flat in Sandbanks. I remember she wanted to start a fast food jacket potato business and I remember that Roger was not supportive! What a great achievement to be elected a Councillor and I admire her for adhering to her principles.

I see that donations are to the Alzheimer's Society which is a cruel way to go when so young.

For Carole with fondest memories! Rest in peace!

Our brave mum and granny. We miss you. You fought with courage and dignity and you passed the same way too.
