In loving memory of Jean Mary Gibbons who sadly passed away on 31st May 2023 after a long illness aged 87 Years. A much loved mum, grandmother and great grandmother, who will be very sadly missed by all who knew her. A truly lovely and kind woman, who was a shining and exemplary example to us all. Family flowers only please, with donations if desired made payable to `Southgate & Roberts Funeral Directors ' by cheques or B.A.C.S (Preffered - please call Southgate & Roberts for Bank Account details). All donations will then be divided equally between the two special needs organisations (The Befriending Scheme & Cococare Ltd), whom were particularly close to Jean`s heart, as they have, and continue to do, such wonderful work for two of Jean`s grandchildren.

Jean was a lovely, kind and caring Aunt who took after her mother in lots of ways and especially in preparing food and organising children’s parties, Christmas parties and the memorable bonfire nights with baked potatoes and sausage rolls. She was always happy and took an interest in the family as it grew and wanted to know what everyone was up to. Jean will be sorely missed by all those who got to know her for the person she was. We are fortunate to have many happy memories to look back on. Rest in peace, Jean. ❤️

Jean, now at peace, such a lovely friend over many years. Remembering when our children were young with school events and later visits to Aldham. In more recent times our meetings in Hadleigh, so enjoyable especially the lunches. We will miss you a dear friend and very special lady. Rest in peace. Sylvia and Keith

Jean made an absolute mockery of any typical mother-in-law jokes. A truly wonderfull human being that it was my absolute pleasure to know and have in my life. It really was the best blessing possible to have her as my mother-in-law. Always interested in everyone she met asking them how they were, or how their day had been. A gentle and kind soul who loved her family and would do anything for them. I look forward so much to seeing her again in a much better place and in much better health.
