They say that you die twice. One time when you stop breathing and a second time, when somebody says your name for the last time. Karen is gone, but certainly never forgotten. Let's all raise a glass together and have a good laugh at the end, it's how Karen would have wanted it... to Karen!

Karen was many things to many people - a soul-mate, wife, mother, sister, aunty, great aunty, cousin, niece, some wummin, and most of all a friend to us all.
FAREWELL MY FRIENDS (a poem from your departed friend to you)
It was beautiful
as long as it lasted
the journey of my life.
I have no regrets
whatsoever save
the pain I’ll leave behind.
Those dear hearts
who love and care

Karen, I know we’ve not seen each other in years. You are gone (far to early), but definitely not forgotten. I have some very fond memories of us and I will continue to keep them close to my heart.

Karen was not only my sister, my wee sister, but also my first friend! My heart ❤️ is broken and I miss you everday. But I know what you would say to me- I can hear your voice in my head (no not 'rocket man') saying, celebrate and love me through life and not death- or to put it another way- party on brother! Xx
