In loving memory of Anne Jeanette Panayides who sadly passed away on 19th May 2023.

Mum was the only child of Helen and Frederick Dudman who completely adored her from the moment she arrived. She had a real passion for reading and art and went to Purley Grammar School. She later moved to Reigate School of Art where her love of sketching and drawing, in particular her love of fashion, became evident. She left at 18 and went to work for Huberts of Bond Street, sketching dresses for them and modelling. She met Mike, our dad, when they were young, in the milk bar in Reigate, and they were married a few years later. Belinda was their first born child, followed by Marina. Mum loved Greece and learnt to speak the language and cook the food as though she had been doing it all her life. She was a prolific reader and would read one or two books a week. Her main love and passion though, was for animals. She adored Persian cats and had at least one or two at any given point throughout her life. Her love of animals and birds was life-long and she helped and cared for them in every way she could. She also loved flowers and filled her garden with beautiful scented roses - perhaps the best way of remembering mum would be to think of her walking in a beautiful rose garden as she loved to do this most of all.
