In loving memory of Lenny Piper who sadly passed away on 18th May 2023

Lenny was a colossal figure in all of our lives. His presence and impact upon us all will resonate forever.

When anyone needed help, Lenny was there.
When anyone needed reassurance, Lenny was there.
When anyone needed a smile, Lenny was there.

His enthusiasm for life and ability to see the good in everything and everyone was unparalleled! His joy and sense of humour was infectious which brings a smile to our faces when we think of him.

Lenny’s beautiful spirit lives on through his wonderful wife Eileen, their children and grandchildren who proudly embody his amazing values, namely Integrity, kindness, love and who can forget, Lenny’s ability to make us all laugh, especially when times were difficult.

The word legend is used too loosely these days but Lenny was just that - a true legend. An icon to us all. A man who was a father figure to a generation of kids in South East London who are indebted to him forever for the love and values he bestowed upon all of them.

We would like to thank our family and friends for all the love and support they have shown us during this difficult time.

Lenny Piper, a true South London hero. He is now at peace and as a family invite you to pay your respects and share memories of him below and to join us in celebrating his remarkable life when we lay him to rest.

Tragic news when Lenny rang me
An hour after your joke to me ! Sums you up you were the life and soul to the end.
You were also the most loving and frank with words type of man I’ve witnessed and you spoke with such care at the times that were needed .Thanks for our chats pal and being there for me because your heart ❤️ would sweep anyone in. You idolised your family and you were truly one of a kind. Deeply missed but what you have given to your closest will live on. You will always be mourned but cherished also x
Miss our chats and laughs
Ride high big Len x
