Gerald (Ged) McNulty (21 Aug 1940 - 7 May 2023)

In loving memory of Gerald (Ged) Francis McNulty who sadly passed away on 7th May 2023.

Ged was born on 21st August 1940 in Glasgow, Scotland. He was the third of five sons born to John and Julia McNulty. He was a devout Roman Catholic and enjoyed playing football.

In 1964, he married his lifelong companion and friend, Nora Lily McNulty (Graham). They were blessed with six sons: Gerald, Andrew, Paul, John, Martin and Peter.

Ged was a hard-working Instrumentation Technician. His work took him to various parts of the world including Saudi Arabia, Southern Africa and the North Sea Oil rigs.

Ged is survived by his loving wife Nora and his children, Gerald, Andrew, John, Martin and Peter; twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren and brother Jackie. He was preceded in death by his son Paul and brothers: Con, Brian and Brendan.

Ged will be especially remembered for his fiery spirit and strong determination, as well as his pride in the McNulty name whereby he sometimes would inflate the extent of the achievements of his family.

The funeral service held on Tuesday, 23rd May 2023 at 10h00 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Partick, Glasgow.
