We shared so many good times at countless sporting events such as football, cricket, indoor cricket, volleyball and the Norfolk v. Suffolk days as well as the harder times at work like Spring Road. He was always cheerful(well nearly always) enthusiastic, encouraging and ready to help, especially useful for the younger and more inexperienced fireman like me. He will be missed. All our love and prayers for you all and especially for Sue’s recovery. Xxx

So sorry to hear the passing of Uncle Clive. Thoughts and prayers with Sue, Robyn Shaun and family. Always fun memories and good times when we were able to meet.

Clive use to love his cricket. Garden cricket however will always be one I’ll remember. One evening we were playing well into the night with Dad, Kieran and family but it was a superb one handed catch by Uncle Clive at 2nd slip and a beer in his other hand that will be a happy and funny memory that I’ll always remember. He didn’t even spill a drop!!!

Rest in peace xxx

So sorry to learn of Clive passing. My condolences to his family.

I will always remember how he took me under his wing when I first joined Kesgrave Basketball Club. He educated me in the joys of real ale and we became firm friends. As is the way of things over time we lost track of each other.
The world has lost a good bloke.

To so many you were a true hero. To me, I have the greatest privilege to call you my uncle.
I have some of the fondest memories of you growing up.
One of my favourites as a young child - you pinched my lollipop and playfully wouldn’t give it back. You then gallantly threw me over your shoulder in a typical fireman’s lift giggling all the way to your car. I must have been about 5!
I will never forget your infectious smile, your wonderful laugh and your calming voice of reason. You were always so happy, gentle and sincere.

You fought a tremendously brave battle to the very end and did so with such grace and dignity. You will forever be remembered by so many of us with so much love.

Good bye my darling uncle, may you rest now and forever more in peace, and be reunited with our dearly departed.

Robyn, Shaun & family, you are forever in my thoughts and prayers, Karla xx

My dear brother Clive. Absolutely heartbroken and saddened that you have gone too soon. You fought your illnesses with such bravery and dignity right to the end. Will never ever forget our days with Kesgrave Comets Basketball Club and also the various Football teams we played for? We had some great times together and brilliant memories. Sadly due to illness I can’t be present to say goodbye. Now Reunited with Mum and Dad. RIP . Ian, Frances and family xx
