Today a legend is laid to rest. I miss you pulling up outside, bibbing and shouting oi, put the kettle on. Never knew anyone who could drink tea like you did. Kept calling me a hippy cos I said I wanted to live in a van and travel lol. Mayeswood will never be the same without you, Dennis. Sleep tight xx

You are on my mind tonight Den, still doesn’t seem real. I know the last few weeks of your life were sh*t, but they are memories I’ll treasure forever. Rolling your fags, constantly taking your blood pressure, trying to force you to eat whatever you could manage 🙈 watching all the random programmes with you. But mostly just laying in bed and chatting nonsense with you. I miss you so much. 💙

You was like a Dad to me you even called me your 3rd daughter. My heart is broken & I will never get over losing someone as special as you . My favourite childhood memories are with you & because of you I’m forever grateful to have them. I love you with all my heart I’m gonna miss you so much. Dennis you truly was the greatest xxx
