Ron Eeles (20 Jul 1947 - 8 Apr 2023)

In loving memory of Ron Eeles who sadly passed on 8th April 2023 following a hard fought battle with cancer. Ron was an inpatient for his final hours in Forest Holme hospice where the empathetic staff cared for him. As a family we are most grateful to the staff for the care and support they offered him during his final few months, and also for the support that they offered to the family.
Ron remained strong and courageous throughout his treatment and was determined to live his life to the full. He was still taking holidays with the family and sharing his sense of humour with others until the recent months when this became too challenging for him.
Ron was an amazing partner and husband, dad, grandad, great grandad and sibling who had a zest for life, he will be sadly missed by everyone that knew him.
Ron's service will be held at Bournemouth Crematorium, Strouden Avenue, Bournemouth BH8 9HX at 11am on the 2nd May 2023. Family flowers only please.
After the service we will continue to celebrate with him at The Horns Inn, Burts Hill, Colehill, Wimborne
BH21 7AA. It would be helpful if you could let Judy know if you will be attending on the day for catering purposes please.
As a family we would like the 2nd of May to be a day of remembrance and a celebration of his life and wacky sense of humour.
The day's dress code is optional black however, we are celebrating a life well lived, so please consider being colourful.
Instead of floral tributes we are requesting that a donation could be considered for the amazing Forest Holme Hospice.
