Patricia ‘Pat’ Durrant of Battisford passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth Hospice after a long courageous battle with cancer on March 12th, aged 76. A much loved wife, mother, sister and nanny who will be greatly missed. Funeral service will take place at West Suffolk Crematorium, St Edmunds Chapel on Tuesday April 4th at 10am, followed by a celebration of life at Battisford Free Church at 2pm. By request please refrain from wearing all black. Family flowers only. Rosemary was a very special caring person. I feel privileged to have met Pat when we were training together at GOS back in the 60's. During that time we enjoyed many special times sharing rooms and holidays and much more. Since then we kept in touch and I shall miss seeing her at our meetings with other GOS nurses here in Suffolk. My heartfelt thoughts and wishes go out to her wonderful family of whom she was so proud.

Patricia has always shown her love, caring and loyalty for her family and those she met. I especially cherish the joy of celebrating special occasions, sharing family news and recalling our memories of time at Great Ormond Street.
