In loving memory of Kaitlyn Lincoln who sadly passed away on 9th March 2023It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Kaitlyn Lincoln, on March 9th 2023. She was only 17.
Kaitlyn was born on the 20th of October 2005, to Kerry and Aaron. A miracle baby.
Is it even possible to capture someone’s personality in just a few words? Especially someone who had such a big personality. But I will do my best.
When Kaitlyn was 6, Gary entered her life and soon became her doting Dad. Her family, along with Kerry, Gary, Kieran, Courtney and Lucy, became complete with the arrival of her younger brother Zack, who fiercely adored her. All of whom are heartbroken with her passing and will sorely miss her.
Kaitlyn always considered her Nan, Sue Brown, her soulmate, and if you ever saw them together, you would have absolutely agreed. They were two peas in a pod and they spent many a weekend together, along with Grandad Ray. Nanny will never forget your beauty, wit & charm, and you will always be in her heart. Fly high.
As a child, Kaitlyn lit up the room, with an infectious smile, a mischievous giggle and a wit beyond her years. Growing up, she made an instant impact on everyone she met and was always such a beautiful character.
Kaitlyn inherited her unique sense of humour from her mother and was a true contender for the most sarcastic person on earth. She had a good sparring partner in her uncle, Simon Brown.
Known for her independent and caring spirit, Kaitlyn will be sorely missed by her many friends, including her boyfriend, Benson.
All those that knew Kaitlyn and her many endearing traits, from her fear of owls to her love of singing to the latest tiktok trend with her friends, will remember her as a caring, loyal and bright individual.
Kaitlyn, you had such promise. The pain of missing you is a beautiful reminder of the joy of loving you.

I thought to write you this message as even over a year has passed without you. I’m still struggling to cope. I know we didn’t interact much at college but when we did, they became precious memories. I miss the times where when you spied me you would come up with a big smile and embrace me, with a powerful hug you Used to comment on my TikTok a lot and always Referred to me as Bestie And you were my Bestie, which I still retain to this day. I still see you as my number one Bestie. I will always picture that smile on your face and your laugh which was infectious enough to even Get a genuine laugh out of me which I’m sure some people know would be quite difficult to do. You were very intelligent and very cheeky at times but I think that’s what everyone loved. There was the occasional people who jealous because you were easily capable of making friends and it is a privilege that I was one of them, I hoped for the future that we could’ve met again and caught up with life over a coffee I just now sit there with my eyes closed imagining that you are there thinking of what could’ve been I love you, Bestie🕊️
