In loving memory of Florence Webb who sadly passed away on 11th February 2023.
Florence was a kind, caring, lovely person always thinking of others. She always had a big smile for everyone.
She lived all of her life in Bermondsey or Rotherhithe.
She lived a long and reasonably healthy life reaching the wonderful age of 100 last year. She survived cancer and she survived Covid together with a few nasty falls along the way but she always bounced back. In recent years she gradually became very frail and helpless and finally her body couldn't take any more and she passed away peacefully on 11 February.
Although Florence didn't have dementia herself I know of many people and their families who have suffered with this dreadful illness so if anyone wishes to make a donation to charity in memory of Florence then I would like to suggest the Alzheimers Society who are doing a brilliant job trying to eradicate this terrible disease.
Rest in peace mum. I will miss you and that lovely smile.
