He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral service to take place on Friday 17th February 1.00pm at St Mary the Virgin, West Malling, Kent ME19 6NE.

What a sad loss for Andy’s family and friends. He was my friend for 54 years. We ‘grew up together as teenagers. He was my first real friend. I could share so many memories…. We would meet every day when I was home from boarding school and start with, “Let’s do something daring today…”. …and throughout our lives we would often say “Do you think we’re grown up yet?” To which we’d both say….”Nah, don’t think so… maybe next year.” I shall miss him dearly. …and continue to go out and do something daring, whilst utterly refusing to ever grow up! The light unexpectedly went out and we thought it had so much longer to burn, leaving us behind without Pandrew and our “Uncle” Andrew - difficult to understand this is the end. This photo was taken at his 65th birthday. He had a great night!

I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew and the rest of the Protheroe family on my first trip to the UK in 93 to visit Anna. He welcomed me with open arms to his newly remodeled flat in London and introduced me to the world of design. I'm not even sure he knew he was my mentor...Trevor, Anna, Lee, Jacob and Finn many blessings to you.
