I was so sorry to hear of David’s death and Sue and I send our deepest condolences to Beth and family. Dave and I were at college together in Bristol in the early 1960s and we both joined M&B at the Ongar Research Station after college in the mid-60s. He was a field trials officer in the Agricultural Development team for many years serving in both the UK and overseas including working in Cuba conducting trials on sugar cane. Later he took responsibility for new product development in Scandinavia and Ireland. Dave was always great fun to be around.

We really appreciate how Dave was great friend and colleague of our father David Marland both at their time at Ongar and personally.
