Biography of Jennifer Alice Horler (4th October 1950 - 19th December 2022).

The family of Jennifer Alice Horler, known as Jenny, are sad to announce that Jenny passed away on Monday 19th December 2022.

Jenny was born on 4th October 1950 in Sheffield to George and Ivy Belk, the younger sister of Geoff. She lived in Sheffield with her parents and brother until she went to University in Bradford to study pharmacy.
She graduated in 1972 and became a registered Pharmacist in 1973. Jenny worked in retail pharmacy in London where she met her future husband Brian at the Methodist Church in Chelsea, and they married in 1974.

Jenny and Brian had their first son, Andrew, in 1977. Around this time they decided that they would rather not bring up children in London and Brian started looking for a new job elsewhere in the country. Eventually they settled in West Bridgford (near Nottingham) and became involved with the life of the Methodist Church there. In 1980, they had their second son, Christopher.

Around the year 1997 Jenny was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and after a few years her needs were such that she had to move to a Nursing Home. Jenny continued to see family and friends whilst in the Nursing Home– always welcoming them with a smile.

Jenny died peacefully on the morning of the 19th December 2022 in the nursing Home in Hucknall and went to join her Lord in Heaven. Jenny leaves behind her husband Brian, sons Andrew and Christopher and grandchildren Jude and Abigail.
