Uncle Curly Wurly (Curls),
The life and soul of every family gathering. The one who would always roll his trouser legs up on the dance floor, the first to any queue for cakes and desserts, the one to raid Nan's pantry at Christmas and the one who taught me how to ride a horse, by tying his overalls to his back to make a saddle and tearing round the caravan site with me on his back! Fireworks night and your love of rockets, I'll treasure these and many more memories forever.
Thank you for being such a special uncle, for all the fun, laughter, love and support. You will be loved and missed forever. Love you always, Sarah & Simon xxxx

To find the right words to say about an Uncle who held such a special place in your heart is such a hard thing to do. Someone who was so selfless, caring, fun and loving. My childhood memories of Christmas and holidays were always made that bit more special just by Curls being there. I was always the envy of the beach with the fantastic sand creations he did and I know he was convinced that me washing his hair with sand was the reason he lost it.
The boys absolutely loved coming to yours and looking through all your creations or collection of models, they enjoyed every minute with you.
That special place in my heart will now be filled with treasured memories and thankfulness that we not only got to love you but in return know that we were loved by such a wonderful person.
Love always
Beck, Joe, Jimmy, Matthew, Daniel and Jacob x

When your uncle is too fun to just be a normal 'Uncle'. This Uncle must be referred to as 'Funcle.

Funcle Curls you always managed to put a smile on anyone’s face, we could count on you to fix the things we broke and help us out anytime no questions asked.
I will never forget the days out and adventures you took us on as children and the surfing (well bodyboarding) “Malibu”….; and we all can never forget your version of Scatman.

Then when we had children the fun didn’t stop you would always be the one to play and make them laugh.

Curls we will miss you deeply with those big bear hug greetings and goodbyes you gave. with all our love.xxxx

Beth, Josh, Abi
